The Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) Policy team conducted stakeholder engagements across the Sebei and Bugisu sub-regions, focusing on key policy and market access challenges affecting business growth and competitiveness.

Held in the districts of Bukwo, Kapchorwa, Kween, and Bulambuli, the engagements brought together stakeholders from both the public and private sectors — including local government leaders, business owners, and farmers, among others.

The deliberations provided a platform to explore practical solutions and policy reforms that can enhance market access, improve service delivery, and stimulate private sector development in the region

The feedback collected will guide PSFU’s nation-wide advocacy efforts and help shape policy recommendations that reflect the realities on the ground. The initiative is part of PSFU’s wider commitment to fostering inclusive private sector growth across Uganda.
